Destroyed Sherman Objective Marker

Well I was meaning to paint another base of men today, but after playing some Halo and watching Deadwood with the mrs. I felt like painting but not guys... so I decided to try to paint my first tank ever! I pulled out my destroyed Sherman objective marker and painted it up to match the Beach assault. I don't have any decals on it at the moment but when I get the time to make/buy some then I will put them on and update the pictures! Enjoy and more to come!

Beach Assault Mortar Team

I have completed a second base to my beach assault company. Here is a Mortar team that I finished this afternoon. I thought it came out well and I really like how my shading and highlights came out on this base. Enjoy and more to come!

First ever FoW Miniatures

I recently got into Flames of War because of a friend of mine. I flew home and visited and got to hang out with my friend for a good while. He introduced me to Flames of War because we are both World War 2 history nuts! I fell in love with it right away and I had him take me to a miniature store so I could buy my first blister pack. I choose a rifle platoon for the good ole U, S and A!
I came home from my trip and ordered everything I needed to paint them and base them and about 2 weeks later this is what I had done. Enjoy and More to come!

First Beach Assault Basing and Painting

I recently started painting and basing a massive beach assault army. When its all finished it will consist of 3 higgins boats, a boat section blister pack and 2 assault companies. Its going to be a massive under taking to get them all finished indeed. Earlier this week I did one of the bases from the blister pack as a test to see what works and what doesn't. Overall I am pleased with it and I think this will be the route I take from now on.
Enjoy and let me know what you think! More to come!
